The Williston City Commission on Tuesday agreed to increase parking costs at Sloulin Field International Airport from $7 to $9.
The airport started paid parking Feb. 1. The new cost will be implemented Oct. 1.
Republic Parking, the management firm serving the
airport, requested the increase since they are not covering their cost
of operation, said Steven Kjergaard, airport manager in Williston.
The company requested to raise the up front parking to $9 per day and leave the remote lot parking at $7 per day.
